As spring comes in we finally have a moment to reflect
on the past winter months and breathe a sigh of relief. The harsh
energy of these past months is warming into a much more prosperous
and happy time. There is a feeling that a more secure foundation
is being laid for the future. All your diligence is paying off
and there is prosperity happening in April. In a way, this time
feels like a milestone. Resolutions are happening and worrisome
situations are stabilizing. Others will respond around you with
more warmth and enthusiasm.
The cards reflect the vitality of the spring but also the sweetness
that usually shows up in the fall. The joy this month is the release
from all the seriousness that has been plaguing your mind and
heart. You have an opportunity to see life less seriously. When
you begin to see life as playful, all the burden on your heart
disappears.
If you look at the religions, you realize that serious thinkers
have created all of them. In our society, serious men and women
attempting to find structure in a chaotic world also created most
of our laws and moral codes. This is not bad but what has happened
to the playful spirit within each of us?
This is the month to reclaim that playful spirit that still dwells
within. This is an opportunity to let go of the fear of death,
of life, of everything that has been weighing you down. It is
through the light heartedness of spirit that you learn to let
go and fly. Even great teachers, prophets, and saints have child-like
moments where the joy and laughter radiates out from them unfettered
and free.
There are moments when we can become so attached to our personality
and behavior that we begin to believe that our personality is
who we really are. That becomes the way our ego attempts to control
our environment and life. Unfortunately, that never feels completely
fulfilling.
This month take a look at your personality as a character that
you are attempting to move love and conscious through. It is just
your character. It is not actually your full and radiant self.
When you believe that your personality is you, you can get caught
in its trap. Often seriousness is the result. But if you look
at your personality as a character that you are playing out a
game through this character that is an aspect of you.
In this way, you will begin to find freedom and movement within
the humor of life as you play your life out as this character.
This is the month to look at how you can share your inner riches
with others. The illusions that we tell ourselves are that we
are not yet ready.
What if you are always ready?
All you need to do is to relax into who you really are. When you
relax, then the light and consciousness bursts forth from your
inner most self like the sweet juice from ripe fruit. When you
embrace yourself that allows for you to embrace the new also.
From an attitude of openness and acceptance we uncover the readiness
that we all hold inside. In truth, we are always ready. We are
always ripe. We just need to allow that perception to open us
up to what already is.
