Welcome to the new year of 2004! This year begins with a bang. It is full of love and fellowship with yourself and others. 2004 is about finding balance. The discrimination of the mind has come into harmony with the love we feel inside.

This is a year of finding a gentle balance and allowing that new balance to create our external into something that allows our light to shine forth.

January is a month of illumination into the past patterns that used to define our place in the world. That old illusion has busted and now we are free flowing into a new way. We feel our passion and energy is re-initialized and our stubborn determination and persistence has paid off in a way that we hadn’t quite anticipated.

We are finding new ways to love and appreciate our choices and mistakes. From this angle the mistakes don’t even feel like problems, only stepping stones along the pathway to our evolving self.

It might feel as if others around you are not as happy about the changes as you are. What is even more amazing is that there is finally an understanding and you are feeling so good that what others think no longer has any bearing on what you will be doing. This gives a new sense of freedom and expansion.

Family patterns will always be there as long as anyone is willing to play their part the game. This month you have the opportunity to choose to no longer be caught in the game. From this new place you regain the control over yourself and actions. In this position you can change the game or construct a new pattern for your family. This is a month of breakthrough to balance. The path is the path of purity and spiritual expansion.

Last year was a year of physical struggles to endure and overcome. It was a year of huge ups and downs.

This year we begin to feel a leveling out of the chaos that drove us to face our greatest karmic challenges. Having faced them we now are experiencing more clarity and calmness. We are recognizing how the expression of our love had been disguised under an illusion of old ineffective behaviors and strategies.
This year signals a change of those behaviors into a more authentic expression of self. If you allow this to happen you will notice how much easier it is to exist moment by moment.

If you have been feeling exhausted just look to where you haven’t allowed your true nature to be seen. It takes an enormous amount of energy to not be your true self. Not only are you battling yourself but also you are battling with everyone else’s opinions.

Now, in 2004 the quest is for you to find your Holy Grail. The Holy Grail is a spiritual quest to find the center of our spiritual place in the world. It is about knowing the self.

All the great teachings have shown what skills are needed to become more aware. Those doors are always about meditation, discipline, introspection, prayer, quiet and inward seeking.

God is not outside you. You do not need to go find that spiritual thing that will validate your existence. All you have to do is to go within and listen. Listen to your needs and feelings. Find the discipline to allow yourself to journey to your own sacred center. God is within waiting to reveal itself to you.

The keys to enter into this new realm is your willingness to step out of old behaviors that don’t work and to aggressively begin to find a new passion and discipline to journey back to yourself.
